Yesterday there was an unusual bird at my feeder. I think maybe a type of finch. The top half was a solid med. brown. The bottom half was black and white stripes. The upper breast was a pale yellow. The difference between the top and bottom was very striking and I thought unusual. Does anyone know what this is? Thank you. Oh, I live in western NY.
