We play golf in St George, UT and we have lots of water fowl in our ponds. Primarily migrating Geese, Ducks, Coots, but also have a flock of permanent white Swans.

The fowl are always in danger of being struck by golf balls. Very sad and scary, but they stubbornly will not move. We currently have a Swan with a broken leg. He is eating fine and can limp on the broken leg, but I was wondering why someone does not capture the Swan and take it to a Vet. I have been told the injury wil heal on its own.

Is this true? I think the injury is at least one month old or more.

Contrary to a popular belief Harpy eagle is NOT the most powerful birds of prey.
Philippine eagle is the most powerful eagle! It takes/carries larger and heavier prey than Harpy eagle and more ferocious prey too like large snakes and monitor lizards the largest of which was a 30 lb Cervus deer. It feeds on macaques, flying lemurs, civets, giant cloud rat, large birds, large snakes, monitor lizards, small dogs and pigs. It even attack on a large python. a feat you can never find to Harpy eagles.

Need information on a freqency gaget that will keep the piegions away. My boss has a Plaza with offices that have outside doors leading into the offices. Well the bird droppings cause a Health issue and we do not want to kill the birds, but keep them away from the building.

I have a Cateau vert (Parakeet) which is only about two months old. But he is refusing to eat though he is hungry. He keeps bobbing his head and getting excited at feeding time but he refused anything given to him. I have to force him with a syringe.

The Steller's sea eagle a soaring eagle is the Heaviest eagle in the world averaging 6.8-9 kg. But the 107-114 cm length is probably incorrect, unrealistic because It has a very short tail as compared to other large eagles like Forest eagles such as Harpy and Philippine eagles which has an average length of 102 cm or 3.3 ft. Forest eagles has a short wingspan for their body size with rounded edge wings and squared off long tail adaptation for great maneuverability in navigating thick forest.
