The biggest bird sale ever held (so far) in Queensland was the 2010 Beaudesert Annual Bird Sale held in November at the Beaudesert Showgrounds. The Beaudesert Bird Sale had (77) seventy-seven bird vendors, compared with just over forty for the 2011 Qld State Bird Fair. The Beaudesert Parrot & Finch Association presents the Beaudesert Bird Sale.

As well, the Qld Birdfest held at Cleveland and hosted by the Qld Bird Breeders Club had over fifty vendors for their 2011 sale in March.
