We had a fantastic time despite not speaking any Chinese - with help from http://www.taiwanecotours.com (thanks guys). Disappointingly did not spot Lophura swinhoii and Garrulax taewanus but managed to view all the other endemics in 5 days fascinating travel. Very few Americans venture to Taiwan.
