Ever since I put up feeders in South Carolina (a year ago), I have had hoards of cardinals. For the past two days, not one has shown up. What could be wrong?

michael-if your lovebird has laid an egg just leave the bird and nature do their part, what you have to do is make sure that your birds have all the food water and necessary vitamins they need so that they can pass them on to their offsprings

Moshin-when female parrots are provided with a nest they usually lay unfertilised eggs(since there is no mail) if you want to prevent this remove the nest or even better find a mail to breed them since they lay eggs

carolcody-ovebirds are very awkward parrot species, what they do with the eggs is common, a possible reason is that they dump out the unfertilised eggs, if you have a lot of them try to separate them in pairs

Charla- yes if you take out the boxes most probably they will stop breeding, also even without boxes there is the chance of laying eggs but this is more rare
